caffeine placebo

it was only chai tea, and it doesnt usually make me hyper. so why do i argue with everything they blather in sunday school? it just itches me. it really bugs me. i like argueing at them, sometimes, because i think i know as much as they do, in a way. not that they'll change their minds, but still. It's a little weird: i'm annoyed that they're trying to doctrinate us, but the fact that i'm allowed to argue means we're not being compeletely doctrinated. but i think they're getting tired of me. ok, i didnt raise my hand all the time, but we were pretty much having a conversation.

I really dont believe that reconciliation is at all necessary. they say if you commit a mortal sin and dont get forgiveness from a priest, you get eternal death. (we're assuming eternal death is a bad thing in this rant.) even if you're sincerely sorry, and not a Catholic. However, only Catholics get sacrimental grace (egocentric!) and mortal sin takes that away. so if you never had to to begin with, what's the big deal? non-Catholics dont sin anymore than Catholics (probably) but just because they dont use Confession, they'd get eternal death? k, the teacher thinks mortal sin is impossible. that's not what their precious book says. (I know i'm irrational, but some of this has to have some truth to it.) If reconciliation is a gift from God, that not everyone can even get, you shouldnt have to accept it. if God forgive us, no matter what, why do we need to go to a priest? stupid Church doctrine. not that we didnt know that, but... rrrrr.
