steep inclines, elections

well yesterday was awesome fun, altho it did mean abandoning a bit of hw... was still living in election-world at the beginning, what with all the new posters and such. i should have worked on my poster some more, but i did delete some potentially horrendous parts, courtesy of Woosle (much thanks.)
then classes and all, come home and wait for katie a while. my dad has stolen the tv for the news, so my mom tells us to go for a walk. turns out we fall down a rabbit hole by the river, find a wooden box, and have a devil of a time climbing back up- it was almos 90 degrees. makes you appreciate the trees even more... we saw her french teacher and a crossroads bumber sticker. more hills, and many lakes. you know the big hill on the golf course? well, try rolling down that sometime... also saw a springer and several "press for help" buttons.
came back and watched the lion king because nothing was on tv (my dad kicked us off before the O.C. started.) and then email teachers a thousand time to make sure she can come to school- except she cant. and its all crazy and i forget my i-search stuff and my speech, which i rewrite in homeroom.
feel absolutely crazed going to the auditorium (wired on espresso beans!) and end up going first, which is good, because we all end up saying the same thing, and it gets old fast. i spoke too fast, and it didnt go that well, but i got it over with. and at least ryan didnt beat me. that would have been strange... who knows. its probably a good idea i didnt get on, i'll have more than enough work next year. it was still odd tho- i didnt really care until today, and then it just- ended.

you are most impressive. I couldn't write a speech at all, let alone write one in 15 minutes!
