Moleskine
it's sunny and windy- quite windy. however, too warm to wear my coat anymore, which makes me feel strange. it became an extension of me... five big pockets, very useful. and now that my wallet has wandered off, i'm always misplacing small things, like pennies, scrunchies, and pencil sharpeners.
on the other hand, i am now the proud owner of a moleskine. it is sitting on top of my books, next to my tea, next to this ViewSonic (strange name, that) at the Howe. i have needed a little notebok for a while... i type most quotes and things onto stickies, then onto a blog i use specifically for notes, but i cant bring that with me. thus, a little smooth notebook. it does not fit in my pockets- altho it would have fit in my coat- but it is nice. it is "the legendary notebook of Hemingway, Picasso, Chatwin." must look up Chatwin...
Chatwin: apparently the greatest novelist since Hemingway. Also, had revelation: moleskine=wallet. does not hold coins, or complete pencil sharpeners, but almost anything else.
